the club won gold medals in 26 events, silver in 13 events and bronze in 8 events.
The season came to a climax with superb performances at the National Championships
resulting in a gold medal for the 15-17 team, a silver for the 13-14 team and
bronze medals for the 12 & under team and the 12 & under duet. One of the
club's senior members, Yvette Baker moved to Aldershot to train full time with

group | Success breeds success and membership of
the club increased significantly during 2009 with many younger members joining
and the Celebration Display provided the newer members with the opportunity to

guests including Birmingham's City Swimming Coordinator Sid Hardy, who commented
"The display was absolutely wonderful, be it the young Learn to Synchro children

me". |
